Groundwater Contamination Monitoring for Pollution Measurement and Transmission Applying WQI Approaches from a Region of the Erode District, Tamilnadu, India

The present research deals with the Risk assessment of groundwater quality. 79 samples were collected from domestic and agricultural usage open bore wells during January 2021(COVID-19 Pandemic Period). Groundwater tested to determine physicochemical parameters using standard testing procedure for preparation spatial distribution maps each parameter based on World Health Organization (WHO) standard. Multivariate statistical analysis has shown source pollution secondary leaching chemical weathering rocks. From Water Quality Index bivariate plot reveals that less than 20% area comes under high very high-risk zone. types hardness diagram showed 32.91% fall in hard brackish water as illustrated by Piper trilinear diagram. outcome result shows least percentage industrials effluents due COVID-19 pandemic, not working all industries lock down period.
